I made this album after seeing a CRAZY interview with Diddy ( the best one i've ever seen from him ) He really dropped knowledge about making an album here. The interviewer spoke with him bout making Ready to Die with Biggie. The Jewels are in THE DETAILS people.

I based my album around parts of the interview and used that as the theme of the project.

All producers need to check this joint out ( especially in this era of singles and ringtones ) cause cats need to go back to making FULL ALBUMS. ( remember when Side A AND side B had to knock for the album to be considered good? )

Yeah i was up in the building for this. Dope ass show. I known Teddy for a minute now and i keep telling him he's one of the best rappers PERIOD. The kid is nice.
I was drunk as hell in the building watching this ( OZ and Playground Ettiqutte killed it too )

Hi Haters i'm back off hiatus

Wow. Bullshiting really is a full time job. I actaully forgot i had a blog. To my 2 followers sorry bout not keeping up with this.

Well, since we last spoke i put out more remix albums ( finally did one for wu ), did sample based projects using Depeche mode and the beatles white album ( whut up Danger mouse i see you ),got placements on the Soul movement fam remix album and Illtravis, linked up with a MC from chi town that i'm doing an album for and finally got a manager. The Soul movement fam joint is out right now ( i did the "new wave" remix by notion and Whisper ) and i'm waiting to hear what Trav does with the beat he picked.

Dutch and i also finished the black tobacco album. That shit came out sick as hell. Probably the best i've ever spit on the mic. Dutch came extra chunky with the beats too.

I'm so used to constantly working on stuff that i dont really focus on promoting it when it's done. In '09 i'm trying to limit the stuff i put out and actually promote the shit i get done. ( and keep up with my muthafuckin blog )

I also quit smoking ( YAYYYYY!!! ), but i've quit 5 times in 2 months ( BOOOOOO!!! ) Matter of fact i'm typing this with an almost empty pack in my pocket. One day i'm gonna get it right and stop the lung abuse.

I was trying to get up with some singers to collaborate with but cats are fronting hard. I'm doing the MZM album with my sister but it takes her forever to write shit. I did an albums worth of beats for the project but we only have 2 actual songs done. Check out the myspace to hear it.

I got 2 other moves i'm working on but i'm gonna keep them on the low till i actually make moves with them.

I also hit 30 in Febuary. ( WHOAAAAAA ) Even though i'm crazy hardbody and in the best shape of my life i'm coping with the frequent panic attacks that comes with the realization that due to personal RETARDEDNESS and being surrounded by idots in life i have'nt really realized my full potential yet. I'm not gonna quit though, cause the amount of people that still root for me to make it would beat my ass up something brutal.

Rhyme Design season

YO whut up. I know i been running my mouth about some rhyming shit. But here's where those darts i spoke about went to.

Black Tobacco is a project that i'm doing with Dutchmasters productions.
We linked up through the Kevin Nottingham site and the mutual respect musically led to this EP ( album is on deck ).
Writing this joint came easy cause Dutch is a producer i really fuck with. He makes the type of beats that i zone out heavy to. Psycologically it's easier to write to someones else's beat anyway, but when they are this hot it's beyond being a cakewalk.
When I was rhyming to his joints i found myself blacking out extra hard. Like on "20 grand exit" when the beat switched i just started singing with the record cause emotionally it just took the kid there. Son is still hitting me with joints so we will make an album.

Here's the Megaman Theory EP. ( yeah i dropped it june 9th but i been doing promo for the God Son remix, going outta town a lot etc etc so i'm posting it up now )

Self produced. A compilation of old and new joints.
I was in a little bit of an experimental mindstate with this. ( 2 of the joints are instrumentals made in Akira Parker mode ) But it's still got straightforward hip hop joints too ( and some inbetween shit )
The rhymes vary from personal to story telling and it is a slight prequel to my OFFICIAL album. ( that is my heaviest body of work ever )

God sons tokyo drift

Whoa. I got a little bit of a nice reaction with this one. I threw it together mad quick ( like 2 weeks on and off )

I was supposed to do "I am" ( i had the acapellas for that album ready and everything ) but i found these vocals and fate did the rest.

The original was mainly somber so i decided to give mine a hard feel.

Like for "get down" the harshness of the lyrics were overtaken by the jazzyness of the beat. So i went for some straight razorblade cold bone hard shit. I mean come on, he was talking bout being a kid and almost shooting someone, watching a friends murder trial go to hell in a basket and was almost murdered himself in the tracks storylines so what i gave the track was TENSION.

Each song on the album required a different feel but i think i did my thing on "zone out" ( whut up bgeezie thanks for the love u gave this track ). I liked how quirky the original was but i went for that straight QB hard hip hop sound with my remix. ( with some xtra sprinkles on top ).

Remixing shit has been pretty fun. I started doing it febuary this year and it has helped me get my name out a little. Plus i got MAD BEATS so it helps me put them out rather than let em sit till i sell em.
