Cave Kingz

Yo me and my man GC just laced the Cave Kingz EP ( i dont know where i get all these dope names from, It's a gift ) The EP is called "before there was fire...." GC on the beats ( whut up homie )and Me on the mic. GC been my mans for YEARS. We actually have done mad basement tapes back in the days and all that ( blunts, music and take out from the chinise food spot on his old block in Silver Spring GOOD TIMES!!!!! )Heads got some crazy response to it. Kevin wants to put out the album on Hipnott ( YAYYY!!! ) Shit is some GRIMY ill hip hop. I gotta admit that my rhyme skills have boosted like a mutha. I rhyme better than ever now and the Cave Kingz EP is a great indicator of my style now. I'm bout to get back into doing shows. Suckas be acting like i was'nt rhyming every week at Tru skool or something. Shout out Enoch, i just bumped into him and Watuzi a few weeks ago in DC. I aint retire, i just took a sabatical. Production is still my life but i gotta knock out this rap shit too. ( i got A LOT of shit to say )

New shit

Yo just laced some new ill shit with my man cyclops from Jersey. I produced his single "I dont know how" ( dude did a video for it too if you act right i'll let you see it )

The joint got called "marsha brady" cause when i made the beat i named it that. ( blame the trees ) We working on an album together that should be some ill shit. "But for now just seckle" and bump this joint. Since yall behaved here goes the video too.

What it do?

Whut up. Just wanted to drop in and update cats on the dealings and proceedings. Been busy as fuck. Helping my moms set up her new business, working on the Ivy league EP, sending beats to Mercy, working on my Akira Parker project and been blessing mad verses for cats. Been writing like hell. I swear if all this work dont pay off I'm spazzing on EVERYTHING AND EVERYBODY.

Wu tang been dropping some raw new shit lately ( "Evil deeds" is another testament as to why Ghostface will never be matched when it comes to delivery ) That's a great look.

Marvel chess set.

I geeked out when i found out abbout this. Playing chess with marvel cats?!? I went nuts. I liked the breakdown of the pieces/characters. I also found out they have Batman joints too. I know i'm mad late about this but whatever duke. This is too fly for words.

Batman/Grendel

Hitting up the Library for graphic novels is my new thing. I recently got back into comics and i found out there's a lot i gotta catch up on. I wanted to share my thoughts about his joint with yall. It's a very well written crossover by Matt Wagner. He created the villian Grendel and then took a stab at mixng the character into Batmans world. I got the TPB and found out it was actually 2 stories.

The first features Grendel pulling off a hiest in a museum. It revolves around two chicks and their relationships with Batman and Gredel in the story. The story itself is well written. ( it took me a little while to figure out who's perspective i was reading at first ) I like how he interlocked all the characters thoughts and moved the story along. The artwork was crazy as hell too. It paid a lot of homage to THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS in terms of style ( especially the little TV panels ) but added new ideas into the pot.

The second has a lot more action. It features a cyborg version of Grendel fighthing Batman. While the first focussed more on the thoughts of the characters, this one features more straight up fights. Batman actually gets his ass beat a lot in this joint. Robin also make a cameo ( whut up tim ) I prefer the first story but this was not bad. It even updates the characters from the first story. ( it takes place a few years in the future of Batmans last encounter with Grendel )

This joint was fly as hell. Well worth reading.

By the way BRUCE WAYNE IS BATMAN ( sorry Nightwing )

Growing up i was always the sort of kid that really wanted to have my own Mech type suit. I was a heavy Voltron and Transformers cat ( in the animated movie when daniel had the suit to go to Cybertron and it could transform i went NUTS!!!! ) My boy showed me this joint and i was like whaaaaat. All i want is the real life Iron man suit and i'm good.
